Man, it would be cool if Dinosaurs were real, huh?  I keep hoping they finally find Nessie or Mokele Mbembe.  I mean, we have the Komodo Dragon and though they are almost as deadly as Raptors, (Komodo Dragons eat several humans a year)... it's not the same.  You might as well call a lizard a dinosaur. I read in a book by Michio Kaku that scientists are actually trying to replicate prehistoric creatures via DNA extract.  Apparently, quantum computing and 3-D printing will be part of the process if we ever achieve it.  We probably will in like 20-30 years.  But "Jurassic Park" is a fascinating concept.  Dinosaurs brought in from the prehistoric age to the modern one.  I do think Aristocrats would pay hundreds of thousands of dollars to visit a real life park with such an attraction. The first Jurassic Park movie is historic and it is as good now as it was then.  It is a masterpiece and marvel of special effects few thought possible back in 1993...

Orishas' debut album is a landmark in the history of Cuban Hip Hop.  There is not much background about them except that they met in Art/Music school within Cuba, became friends and collaborators, and one of the guys speaks French.  Whatever they had was so special that Sony signed them out the gate.  I'm pretty sure they had an underground buzz and scene within Cuba but unlike others for example:  Tiro De Gracia, El Sindicato Argentino & Tres Coronas, I have never come across with any underground works from Orishas. In the year 2026 it may not sound as special but in the year 2000, what Orishas did in combining Cuban Son with Hip Hop was revolutionary.  D'Mingo had done it before in the mid 90's mixing soneo Boricua with Rap, but what Orishas did was much more sophisticated.  Their background in music & percussion allowed them to blend live music with Rap samples seamlessly.   I won't spoil it in case anyone hasn't watched.  Growing up this was one of my favorite events.  My father got me this on VHS from the discount bin when I was 6.  They say this is one of the worst Royal Rumbles of all time.  And it prefaces Wrestlemania 9, generally regarded as the worst Wrestlemania ever. As an adult I can attest to Wrestlemania 9 not aging well, though I enjoyed it at the time.  Bret Hart and Hogan were my favorite wrestlers but I didn't mind the Hulkster getting a comeback.  I would have done a clash at Summerslam between Hogan and Bret Hart.  That is what I wanted as a 6 year old, preferably with Hart going over.  Had they gone that direction, that ppv would have aged better.   Pancho Indio Crew presenta Tha Bulbas (2002) Some may be familiar with Pancho Indio Crew thanks to his short lived duo with David Deambulante who in turn had his most notable runs with Nicky Jam in the mid 2000's and early 2010's.  Even less will know that before his beginnings as a solo act, Indio was a member of the duo "Los Panchos" who took their name from the legendary trio act of the 1950's. "Los Panchos" were Indio with his partner Gizmo J and appeared on some notable productions of the era like DJ Raymond 3, Rappers The Beginning, DJ Goldy's "MP y MH Underground" and Hipnosis.  Their biggest hit was "Girlas Bailen" produced by DJ Chiclin & Rafy Mercenario in 1999.  Then, unexpectedly, in 2001 Pancho made his solo debut on DJ Joe's "Fatal Fantassy" series of albums.  He also appeared on other notable productions like DJ Eric All Star 2, Guatauba xXx, The Noise The Beginning and Babilonia El Imperio Comie...

I just discovered who Loren Avedon was thanks to the Forgotten Fists YOUTUBE channel.  And wow!  This is some of the best martial arts I have ever seen filmed.  It blows most of the classic martial arts choreography even of classic Hong Kong Kung Fu flicks up until today's post Matrix world.  The Billy Blanks vs Loren Avedon fight sequence is perhaps the best ever filmed.  I had no idea Billy Blanks was that good. The story is also very engaging about an undercover cop going to investigate an underground ring of martial arts snuff films.  "The King of The Kickboxers" is one of the greatest martial arts action movies in history and is a must watch for any fan of the genre.  Rating:  9/10
